Here's a holiday one for you. A friend's daughter (3 and a half years) asked on her rainy awful holiday in France if they couldn't just go back to their last holiday (lovely happy sunny France). That holiday had been when she was just two years old, but she could still remember how great it was.
She expected her parents to turn back time and change space so that they could all have a far better holiday.
Have fun at your launch.
Thanks! I remember being with Isaac when he was smaller and watching an aeroplane whiz past, fast and loud, overhead. When it had gone, he said 'Again! Again!', as though I could somehow rewind it and replay it for him.
But it's also interesting that this little girl currently remembers the holiday she had when she was 2. Will she still remember anything from when she was 2 when she is older? Quite possibly not. If so, it shows that memory is working - she can retain the information from age 2 up to 3 1/2 - but for some reason it doesn't last any longer.
